As we head into the final week of the campaign to defeat Issue 1, our efforts pivot to GOTV canvassing and visibility. We are planning a large canvassing for Saturday, August 5 and need your help. If you can walk Saturday or Sunday, please sign up for a shift. Please indicate if you prefer to walk your block/neighborhood or wish to be assigned to another area. Canvassing packs will be available Saturday at Morgan Park from 10am-1pm and at Chagrin Falls and Orange locations later that day if you can’t make the morning pickup spot.
To make this effort a success, we need at least 20 canvassers/teams. If you’ve never canvassed before, this is a great time to start. Lists and maps will be targeting likely supporters and your only mission is to remind voters that there is an election on Tuesday and answer questions if they have any.
